For first timers we offer a one-off half-price fee of $10 which is valid for your first visit only. We do not offer free classes as we value the time and expertise our instructors commit to each and every class they teach and encourage a community that also values this. In saying that we also have a mission to ‘Make Space for Every Body Every Day to Move, Create, and Connect’ so if you are facing financial hardship which is preventing your participation please send through an inquiry to find out more about our scholarships and community support initiatives.
Our one-off class fee is $20.50 for adult, children and youth students
Yes we sure do! For adults, children and youth classes we have a 10 Class Pass for $188.00 valid for 4 months, saving you $1.70 per class. Or for adults we also have a 20 Class Pass for $330.00 valid for 2 months, saving you $4.00 per class, Or our unlimited monthly pass for $288.00 saving you at least $6.00 – $8.00 per class.
Unfortunately we cannot offer any credits or extensions for expired passes so you will need to make sure you get your booty to class to take full advantage of your pass! The only exception to this is if you have a legitimated medical reason. In which case you can get in touch with us to discuss options.
Yes you can use your pass to book in a friend on their behalf, but we will still require that person to set up a student account with us and agree to our terms and conditions before they attend class.
Yes you can attend the first week of one of our 5 or 7 week beginner courses paying the casual rate of $20.50 before deciding whether you want to enrol in the full course. If you decide to continue you will just be charged the difference of the course fee minus the $20.50.
) It will depend on your previous dance ability and the teacher so if you do want to join, but the course you want has already started please send through an inquiry to see how we can get you involved
Yes we do allow mid term intakes but we will need to discuss the details depending on how far we are in the term and the abilities of your child, so send through an enquiry and we can get in touch.
Yes we have many performance outcomes throughout the year. We don’t make it compulsory to be part of our performances and events and we highly recommend it to get the most out of your learning and to help build our dance community further
Yes they sure are! We love beginners because you are a blank canvas and will sometimes learn these styles faster then advanced dancers because you don’t have to break out of other ways of moving. If you are feeling nervous feel free to get in touch with any more specific questions.
Jungle City classes are held at a variety of studios spaces around Melbourne and online via zoom so check before you book in to a class where it will be held. You will find this in the description of the class / course.
Comfortable clothing and footwear that you feel good in. Also bring your own drink bottle and some classes may require a exercise / yoga mat which is also optional
We welcome all ages to our adult classes and attract a diverse community of students of all ages. Our kids and youth classes are age specific so check the descriptions to find the right one for your child
None of your classes suit my schedule. Can I book in for private lessons?
Yes you can! We offer private lessons for up to 3 participants at $120 per hour, and group privates for $220 per hour.
Our beginner courses are held in a studio without mirrors for this reason, and also because our teaching method works much better without mirrors to help you fully embody the dance. However our adult intermediate, kids, and some fitness classes are held in studios with mirrors.
