Jungle City Junior Crew – Term 1
Jungle City creative space
Youth Dance program
If your child just can’t keep still when the beat drops, then this program is for you! Our Jungle City ‘Youth Crew’ dance program teaches children and young people not only about dance movement in the styles of Jamaican Dancehall, Afro Fusion and Hip Hop but also builds their confidence, social skills, and ability to work as a team. Each term we work on building our students dance vocabulary in these styles, technique, musicality, strength & flexibility, performance skills, and of course freestyling. As this class caters for a wide age range, we integrate activities that challenge each student at their specific skill level and ability while encouraging them to work as a team on dance routines and creative processes. At the end of each term we have a performance outcome with two major performance events each year that students have the opportunity to be part of along side our broader student community.
