Youth Dance program
Dance is the perfect way to build confidence, get fit, stay positive, and develop cognitive and creative skills for healthy development in all areas of life. As children develop, it is vital that their body and mind develop in unity, and dance is a great tool for facilitating this process. Children who dance learn important social skills such as team work, have greater spacial and self-awareness, and learn to focus their energy and decrease stress and anxiety in times of difficulty and uncertainty. Although we do encourage our students to challenge their abilities over the course of our program classes are beginner friendly and suitable for all children and young people with an interest in dance who want to develop their skills further. As part of our program students’ perform throughout the year giving them an end goal to work toward and an opportunity to build their confidence beyond the class room environment.
